Frequently Asked Questions

The world always looks brighter from behind a smile.

Are you a family‑run clinic?

Yes, Onyx is proud to be locally and family-owned. We combine decades of community experience with a warm, personalized approach—ensuring each patient feels at home.

Do you offer implant-supported dentures?

Definitely. We provide a full range of options including traditional full dentures, partials, and implant-supported dentures (including All‑on‑4® style solutions) to match each patient’s comfort and stability needs

What happens at my first appointment?

You’ll get a comprehensive oral health exam, digital scans or X-rays (if necessary), customized treatment planning, and transparent pricing. Most initial visits take about 60 minutes.

Can you see children or younger adults?

We primarily focus on adult denture patients, but we’re happy to discuss options like space maintainers or partials for younger patients if referred by a pediatric dentist.

What about dental imaging?

On-site imaging includes digital X-rays and intraoral scanning. For full CT-scans or external imaging, we refer you to trusted partner clinics or labs.

Do you repair dentures if they break?

Absolutely — breakages, cracks, and loose teeth are repaired typically within 24–48 hours, with emergency appointments available most days.

How long before I adjust to new dentures?

Most patients adapt within a few weeks. Initial sensitivity or sore spots are normal and we offer complimentary adjustment visits during that period. Ongoing issues are rare but promptly handled

Why do dentures need relining or replacing?

Gums and bone structures shrink over time (especially post‑extraction). We recommend relining every 2–3 years and full replacement around years 6–7 to maintain fit and health
